Besides top lots by Gabriele Münter (e.g. “Landschaft mit Sonnenblumen“, proceeds: € 390.000*), Wladimir Georgiewitsch von Bechtejeff (“Reptilien“, proceeds € 378.000*) and Günther Uecker (“Feld („Haut“)“, proceeds € 354.000* as well as “Spirale“, proceeds: € 171.000*), other works, for instance by Ernst Barlach, Erich Buchholz, Otto Dill, Josef Eberz, Jörg Immendorff, Alexej von Jawlensky, Diego Giacometti, Gotthard Graubner, Otto Griebel, Paul Jenkins, Béla Kádár, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Fritz Koenig, Ernst Wilhelm Nay, Emil Nolde, Anita Rée, Auguste Rodin, Christian Rohlfs, Arnold Topp and HP Zimmer also realized excellent increases.

The section of Old Masters and Art of the 19th century is now brought to auction twice a year instead of four times a year, which made for a soaring demand. Along with Hendrik Willem Mesdag‘s “Die Rückkehr der Fischer“ (proceeds: € 144.000*), works by Friedrich Gille and Carl Blechen also realized strong increases. With overall proceeds of around € 1.3 million*, the section of Rare Books - Manuscripts - Autographs - Decorative Prints is very content. “This result matches the figures of both last year’s auctions, it even shows a slight upward trend.
