CoinsWeekly
Description
CoinsWeekly is a new, weekly published journal on the internet. The focus is laid on antiquity and European numismatics. Every week a new numismatic-historical professional article is published. All articles hitherto released can be viewed in the comprehensive archive involving aspects such as “The Delian League and the Athenian money“, “Honni soit qui mal y pense or What exactly was the spintriae’s function?“, “The Melle Mines and the Carolingian silver production“, “Why Sigismund ‘rich in coin’ died a destitute man“, “How to detect forgeries“ or “Gold! Jack London, Klondike and Burning Daylight“. The person responsible is Ursula Kampmann who is widely known to collectors for years as an author of reference books and expert on the coin market. Of course, the website provides the user with news – updated every Friday – on current events of the numismatic scene: invitations to coin fairs, particulars, internet trouvailles plus information, both essential and superfluous – in short, everything the collector concerns. You can subscribe to a newsletter in order to be informed. The previews and reviews of auction sales should not be omitted here as well as the sale lists, the book presentations etc. etc.
